The business agents for YRC hated me I detested them Id call them plantation bosses for their masters Hoffa junior and corporate management.
So ok the contract fails panic amongst the Slave owners Hoffa junior saying YRC gonna go under. Great shoot this bitch in the head I told management once this place YRC is like a brother and sister fucked and had a kid. I felt this is how capitalism supposed work not welfare capitalism. They have a second vote and mysteriously it passed.
I then went to Buster Brown put application in online got hired within week five years now. And you know we may walk and strike oh well thats how it is supposed to work. Like we did back in 94 yet my point is let yellow die working there youre basically no better off than a non union LTL Carrier as in below dollar pay to no pension.
I even had dumb asses say look we still dont pay for our medical when I still worked there. Yea our medical is covered by our union dues Id say you dumb fuckers youre giving minimum $150 week in givebacks and still paying union dues.

Yet Ive been screwed by yellow when I worked for Preston 151 and then Roadway proper. And the union LTL pond is not very big and Ive seen a lot of union carriers go under Preston was one of them. Yet Ill say this from actually working for them the most efficient union LTL company I ever turned key for was Roadway. Terminal were paid off pension fund was paid into Roadway was always in the black.
Roadway was lean they had a formula and it worked example cut times if that trailer is due to close 22:00 22:02 doors rolled down its getting hooked no waiting on freight Roadway was customer service yellow hold your freight hostage. Another example of yellow stupid and I was in on management decisions Im at our Yonkers terminal hooking empty pups take to Brooklyn. And before I left Yonkers a road driver I knew came rolling in from Brooklyn with an empty set of trailers.
Or on a Sunday dispatching 22 drivers 450 miles to North Carolina terminal with all empty wagons all sets thats 44 trailers going south. And I was on that hey Im following orders got called work. And the Carolina terminal didnt need the trailers nor the power the tractors so you had 22 guys laying in hotel getting paid after 14 hours sitting around waiting on a call on Monday total management incest in thought and it that way of thinking was system wide.
Here at brown they are efficient yet not freight its packages loaded into those trailers anything under 75 pounds. So yea Im rambling like I said bad punctuation and dyslexia but my point it isnt the workers both labor and lower management the mangers gave back 7% of their wages. The problem is the investors and Wall Street the CEO.
