Guess the NFT craze is over since I don't hear about anymore...
of these vanity issues by celebrities/entertainers trying to make a quick killing by selling online "artwork"?, usually images of themselves for big bucks.
Just imagine, so-called artwork that can't be hung of put on a pedestal, and some were gullible enough to buy.
The last high-profile one I particularly remember was one Malaria trump offered. I think she was trying to make some bucks of her own, maybe to leave trump.
Well at least it's over. That was even worst than that one South American nation that switched it's economy/currency to bitcoin, or some other cyber currency. Crazy.

Like been said many times before, this whole thing is a ponzu scheme. If you were there at the beginning, you made a killing
Ponzu is an Asian sauce
.
A ponzu scheme sounds like a plan for dinner.

(1,766 posts)Soy sauce and usually some kind of citrus juice. The citrus cuts down on the sodium, but tricks your tongue into thinking it's still there.
Plus, they taste great together.
You can get the exact same effect by adding some citrus juice to whatever you're cooking or marinating with soy. It'll save you some money and pantry space.

(8,387 posts)I am often curious about it, but have waaaaaay too many concoctions in bottles already. I've been trying to eliminate ones that are basically duplicative or easily made, like gyoza sauce, so I'm glad I haven't fallen for the ponzu scheme.

(12,749 posts)Contacted me to see if I offered NFTs. When I told him my work was all two and three dimensional OOAK and I did not take crypto in payment, he seemed mightily offended, but broke communication.
I really so hope that pause of the hustle is done with.

(1,766 posts)I'm still at the "what is an NFT again?" stage.
Don't understand it. Pretty sure I didn't need to. Most of the time, that hunch pans out on the correct side of the equation.
I knew I was really old when entire fads started passing me by before I knew they existed. Be it products or music groups or stupid crap people did for attention--I would miss all of the craze. And most of the time in a blissful way.
It was only when my son or his friend would mention them that I became aware of them. And after learning about them, I'd find that I didn't miss anything at all, really.
People get caught up in some really stupid stuff.
