Quickbooks Pro 2013...

So in another thread I talked about upgrading to 2012. It wasn't so bad and I caught on to the new look pretty quickly.

I decided to bite the bullet and update another company from 2007 to 2013. May as well stay current, right?

It looks totally different from 2012! I haven't played around with it enough yet to see how I can modify the look BECAUSE I AM TOO BUSY entering information, but what the heck? There are a ton of pop up ads and I can't seem to get rid of a box in the lower left corner that's nothing but a spam box as far as I can see.

Any tips?

Quickbooks Pro 2013 is an abomination!

Here is a link that details how to get it to sort of work like 2012 and previous versions:

These links detail how to turn off the Community and Pop Up Ads:

In my case, I just gave up on 2013 and went back to 2012. I am going to be looking for another software solution in the next few years as 2012 will loose support I am sure quite quickly so they can force us to purchase the next new edition.

Good luck!

Those links are great! I think I turned the stuff off in 2012 but I have not taken the time to do it in 2013. I just can't believe they'd change so much from one year to the next. Yeah, I expect it over 7 years!

Thank you!
