The case of the missing landlord...

or more accurately, The Missing Property Manager.

Feb. 1, I contacted the last known property manager for our lease and heard back a few days later that they were out of town and would get back to me. They did not. I contacted again and have not heard anything. I am about to send a certified letter but my concern is that we are going to run out of time before our lease is up to know whether we can stay or will have to move. Right now, I am making plans to move, but if I can't work out a good deal with the new landlord, I may be forced to stay. April 1 is our deadline for giving notice to the present "landlord."

Any suggestions?

got an email with a bunch of excuses and was able to push the deadline. We are still working with a new landlord but I have concerns about the new place. *sigh*
