Very glad for these advances in veterinary medicine. Unfortunately, thousands of dogs are still dying for HUMAN research.

My ex was an electrician for Univ. of Louisville. One of the surgery labs he had to do work in had med students amputating dogs' legs, and then reattaching them, presumably so they could operate on humans.
