I don't think there has been enough recognition of the fact that

the Republican Party has nominated, as their candidate for the presidency, someone who has actually punched a teacher in the face.

I mean, Chris Christie has only disparaged and yelled at teachers and threatened them with his desire to do them bodily harm. But Trump (at least according to his own--and this is key--BRAGGING about it), has gone that heroic (to the rabid RW who absolutely despise those who dedicate themselves to education) important bit father and actually assaulted an educator.

Of course they love him.

to being expected to behave in accordance with some rules of decorum. Nobody tells the Don what to do or not do!

Oh, and he admits he's basically still a first grader. And who doesn't want a belligerent first grader at the helm?

After allegedly punching his second-grade music teacher, he was constantly reprimanded. By the time he was in seventh grade, his parents had had enough of his rebellious behavior and sent him for the next five years to New York Military Academy, where he fought even more.

“I always loved to fight,” Trump told biographer Michael D’Antonio, the author of “Never Enough.” “All types of fights, including physical.” Trump told D’Antonio that “when I look at myself in the first grade and I look at myself now, I’m basically the same. The temperament is not all that different.”
