Propane propaganda claims it's clean and renewable.

I watch Canadian TV and I see ads claiming propane is renewable. The industry spokesperson at the link says I am wrong, that no such claims are made, so maybe it's only on Canadian TV, but I am not wrong. Anyway, there is a huge push to rescue propane and natural gas from the inevitable. Once the electric grid gets decarbonized, and consumers discover induction cooktops, gas ranges will no longer be big sellers. Some jurisdictions are writing gas appliances out of building codes because they produce bad indoor air quality. Did you ever wonder what happens to the fumes from your gas cook top. I did, and I run my exhaust fan a lot since I looked at the numbers. Part of propane's last gasp (pun intended) is a statewide ballot measure that prohibits local authorities from excluding gas appliances in new houses. The coal industry is engaged in a similar PR effort, but they stop.short of claiming coal is renewable.
