(27,515 posts)NBC gets too much in advertising revenue from insurance companies to say anything about premiums skyrocketing or even the inability to obtain it in the first place. They cant ignore it forever, however, and guess whos going to get caught in a very uncomfortable situation: Floridas Governor. Then guess whose side hell take: homeowners or insurance companies. If a special niche category is carved out for the 1% of 1% who own the most expensive properties, I hope people mobilize against it.

Insurance companies need to stop insuring these properties.
This is not a sudden disaster and these people should not be reimbursed for their losses.
