Time to Wake Up 297: A Dagger in EPA's Bipartisan Mission - Senator Sheldon Whitehouse
March 26 - Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) delivers his 297th speech urging his colleagues to wake up to the threat of climate change.
Whitehouse kicked off an hour-long discussion by Senate Democrats on the Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin’s announcement that he intends to roll back over 30 major rules and policies that protect Americans’ clean air and clean water and limit the carbon pollution driving climate change.
These regulatory rollbacks will line the pockets of Donald Trump’s fossil fuel megadonors while driving up costs for American families, and torpedo EPA’s bipartisan mission to protect human health and the environment.
