What if your bike was a pickup truck?
This is another of my finds while searching for practical two wheeled transportation.. In my state this would be legal to ride on the street with no license or insurance because the engine is under 50cc and it has operating pedals.

(10,170 posts)Probably need a license for it in Texas. It's always a challenge to even get an inspection for my Vespa Grande which is an actual moped.
Did you build this handy vehicle?

(45,851 posts)It will be rather like this pushme pullyou tandem with the rear seat removable and a flatbed type setup to put in place of it and a 49cc engine more or less concealed between the seats/under the flatbed.. Biking is my special thing to do with my grandkids and I decided to go really radical. Even my current setup has a lot of kids in cars waving at me, this one should have them nearly falling out of the cars looking and waving..
Thanks to neck and back problems I can't ride a standard bike very far any more.
No, both ends don't steer, it just looks that way..
I have a post up with a few pics of my progress..
