Recycling urine for fertilizing plants.

Posted this in the gardening group but thought it may be of interest here for those who wish to save on money for fertilizer and on water bills (less flushing of the toilet).

We have to dispose of our own waste and being able to recycle it is a really appealing idea.

There are some composting toilets we have been looking at. They are really intriguing, but pricey.

I'd get into alot of trouble if I did such a thing in town but for those who live way out in the sticks, this might be an option.

They had a toilet in their cabin that was basically a tub filled with sawdust. They emptied it directly into their compost pile.

All I can say is that their garden was amazing! FWIW, there was really no objectionable odor.

Which is more than I can say about my boat when the tank is getting full and the weather warm, lol.
