(67 posts)I've never posted before so I don't really know if this is appropriate. I spend every weekend in the summer on the beach in a camper that is powered by a simple solar energy set up. Cost under $500.00. We have gotten so many inquiries on how we did it, my partner put together a web site explaining the process. http://www.simplesolarsetup.com. Is this the type of info that would be appropriate for this group?

(8,646 posts)I'm moderately frugal out of necessity right now and definitely not as 'green' as I'd like, but looking forward with a goal of being on an acreage, living off the grid in the (far, for now) future.
