Shop Your Way Rewards/KMART/Sears
I thought I'd share this with folks here. I've been a member of the shopyourway.com rewards program via K-MART and Sears for awhile now.
They've been giving me free points and give you more free points to use when you buy stuff via the online link or in the stores named above (and others too).
This thing has been practically feeding all three of my cats for the past couple of months. I've been getting great deals on cat food (just got 3 bags of Purina for $7.00 lot long ago - the 3-1/2 lb. size).
You can opt to have it shipped but that will likely cost or you can go pick-up if you like. Luckily, I live close to a KMART so it is no big deal for it to be picked up.
Here is the link to the shopyourway.com

I'd recommend it. I think I have close to 100 cans of Fancy Feast btw so I'm well-stocked for the winter and gee, it didn't cost much at all!
Cheers everyone!!

(21,104 posts)It is a Shop Your Way Rewards card I believe it is called. You use it in the store when checking and it is linked up w/your telephone # and it has its own # as well.
They don't have this thing honed to perfection (doesn't always work if you "load" coupons to your online acct.) but they keep sending me $10 here and $10 there.
Yesterday I got 2 more bags of Purina 100 Salmon & Tuna dry food and a 10 oz. bag of cat treats -- ready to be picked up now and all it cost me ~$10.00. Not a bad deal at all but getting used to how the thing works is the trick. Not particularly easy I must admit!

(21,104 posts)Well I got 1 lb. of cat treats and another bag of food Purina One from them for $4.32 the other day. Short on cat litter that day and noted they had Tidy Cat 20 lb. bags on sale so I bought six bags of that from KMART and the checker-out guy likes me and slipped me 5,000 *surprise* points. I only buy things that are needed and on sale. It is a bit of work but it does pay off if you hang-in there with it.
So ... its working out ok for me and the cats are happy too!

(21,104 posts)Got more *surprise points* today.
So I got all of this for $2.82.
1 bag of Purina One day cat food 3.5 lbs.
1 6 oz. pouch of Friskies Party cat treats
1 10 oz. pouch of Friskies original cat treats
and as icing to that cake ...
3 cans of salmon/shrimp grilled Fancy Feast
Lots of goodies for the cats for $2.82!
It will be a Merry Xmas for the cats around here anyway!
Just got another offer from them after this & I ordered some things I needed online for $40.00 and I saved $13.00+ on this recent batch of things.
I rather like it as they go and do the shopping for you and you just go into the store, give them your name and/or phone # or Reward Card and they email you when it is ready to be picked up. Makes life a bit easier for those of us that can't get around so well, that is for sure!
Went through my ebates.com link to KMART and if I get 6% off on the $40.00 order I just placed, I'll let you know. If you aren't familiar with ebates.com let me know! I've been a member since the beginning and receiving checks every 3 mos. of ~$20.00. Over the years, these $20 check add up to a rather handsome amount close to $1,000.00 so far!
again and I also got $2.00 from the $40.00 order to use before the end of the year. Will wait for a sale on cat treats, cat food and more surprise points too!
On edit: Just got this email from ebates.com!
Date Store Cash Back Order Number
11/18/2015 Kmart.com $2.60
Keep 'em coming Shop Your Way Rewards!!!

(86 posts)Early last year I went to Sears Automotive Center to buy a battery charger to use on my lawnmower. The cost was $25, but I was charged 81 cents because I had built up money on this shop your way program. I was shocked. I still haven't paid much attention to it, so this is another reminder. Thanks!

(21,104 posts)It was to be spent on clothing so I bought 6 pairs of plush socks to wear in bed. They were on sale and I went via the ebates.com link to KMART and I got all 6 pairs for .33 cents or less than .06 cents a pair being I got 6% cashback from ebates.com!
I'm having some fun with this I must admit and getting lots of free stuff that I need to boot!

(21,104 posts)Wow, I just got 14,490 free points some how and got myself a new wallet with these free points for zero, that's right, zero!
As soon as I receive an email I can go pick it up and wow do I ever need a new wallet with a strap!
I picked up my six pairs of socks yesterday. With the ebates.com money, the cost was a mere .32 cents as stated yesterday! I seriously wonder how long they'll be keeping this up! is about all I can say at the moment!
On edit: I went to KMART via the ebates.com website to KMART!
Status is:
Date Store Cash Back Order Number
11/23/2015 Kmart.com $0.90
So, they gave me a free wallet and $.90 to go with it!
again ... why not!?

(5,208 posts)I went to their location several years ago when I needed a new Washer/Dryer combination, joined the Shop Your Way program at the time to get a lower price, and still get emails offering pts.
The only customer reward programs I'm in at present are My Coke Rewards and Kellogg's, which are pikers(sp?) be comparison.

(106,767 posts)but I guess they decided they were spending too much with the rewards earned by some people and drastically cut back how much you can earn with fitness activity-- so it is only marginally worth it now.
Still, if you walk/run a lot (and I do) and have a fitbit or other device that can automatically feed to it, AND can sort of time your workouts so that you both earn and are able to use maximal points before they expire (1 week), it is still useful, if you have a kmart nearby. I have covered a lot of my incidentals (toilet paper, dishwashing detergent, paper towels, kleenex) that way. I used to earn about $5/week. Now, the reward/week is drastically cut back but timed right I can earn/use the same $5 every other week. Still not bad if you are going to be working out anyway. Obviously the regular rewards points from purchases don't expire as quickly and could be combined with it.
