Need recommendation for best animal charity.

Hubs and I are making a will and one of the things I'm insisting on is that some money go to an animal charity. Need recommendation.

1. I used to donate to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.

This is the one located in Utah. I think they may be Best Friend's Animal Society now. They used to be excellent, so I'm surprised at the B+ rating.

PetSmart Charities is another good charity, and very easy to donate if you go into the store often. A few dollars here and there when you take your pet to the groomers or buy some treats helps!

Best Friends Animal Sanctuary for years. Thanks for reminding me. That's a top consideration.

And every time we're in PetSmart, we round up to donate at checkout.

The way my hub's fund is set up, we can name but one more charity and we're trying to find one that covers the most issues.

2. I generally donate to local animal charities, since it helps the area I live in. But all those

mentioned seem great. Also, the name escapes me at the moment, but there is a group that transports pets all over the country for adoption. I'm sure a web search would find them. Good luck and thanks for what you are doing.
