Sign: Justice for Kittens Allegedly Killed Slowly and Painfully for Horrific "Crush" Videos

Lady Freethinker.org

(Warning: The following post contains details that some may find disturbing)

PETITION TARGET: Senior Crown Attorney Sean Sass

Helpless kittens and cats suffered as the life was crushed out of them on camera -- their deaths drawn out for several agonizing minutes -- for videos reportedly filmed in Canada and spread on the dark web, according to Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC).

"Investigators told me that this is the worst case that they've dealt with -- a very, very horrible case involving animal cruelty," Winnipeg Police (WPS) spokesperson Constable Stephen Spencer said at a press conference discussing the case, per Western Standard.

A Winnipeg animal protection officer contacted police after receiving a tip from a concerned citizen who discovered graphic images and videos online of animals being crushed to death by human feet.
The bodies of 10 cats and one rabbit were then discovered in the home of two suspects -- all dead -- according to authorities.

"These are not quick kills," Senior Crown Attorney Sean Sass said about the crush videos, reported by CBC.
"They're staged, premeditated torturing that result in the death of very vulnerable animals."

Two individuals have been arrested and charged with animal cruelty crimes.

Please sign our petition asking Senior Crown Attorney Sean Sass to treat this case with the severity it deserves by prosecuting it to the fullest extent of the law -- including a lifelong ban on having animals and intensive psychological intervention.

1. Your headline could have warned of painful information rather than sharing same.

Some of us don't do this well.

2. I posted a warning at the beginning of the OP

If I could have posted a warning in the headline I would have, but there wasn't enough room
(I would have had to delete part of the Lady Freekiller.org Petition title to do so)

3. And that would have been a horrible travesty. Right. Since it could have been repeated in the body.

By the way, if you actually wanted me to get your answer you have to respond to my post, not your own. But I suspect you may have known that.
By the number of your posts you've been around for a while.

4. No, your absolutely wrong...not responding to your posted reply was a mistake. It was NOT done on purpose.

Yes, I have been around a while, but I'm only human, and I often make mistakes.
And no, it wouldn't have been a "travesty" but it wouldn't have been the actual wording of the petition either, would it?
(Petition now has nearly 32,000 signatures)

I am against animal cruelty; and when it occurs as blatantly as in this case, I will do everything in my power to help the authorities locate the offenders or to demand that they be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

(Upon reflection, I think you make a valid point; and in the future, I'll consider shortening the wording of a petition in the heading to make room for a warning, if I feel such a warning is necessary in the heading)

5. Thank you for responding and acknowledging my point about the lead.

I know I have become more sensitive this fall and no doubt the uncertainty of the election is partly to blame. Might be my age, might be general worry. Don't know. Brutality of animals seems to set me off emotionally. I just honestly don't know what happened to our world. Again, thanks for responding.
