I've seen a lot of videos of surrenders. They usually happen when the rest of the squad is dead and the guy who surrenders knows they won't shoot him.

In addition, these guys are going to be used in meat wave attacks, their function is to absorb Ukrainian ammunition. Their life expectancy once they get to the front is measured in hours.

and forced the family on threat of going to the same prison to agree to a secret burial so there would be no shrine to a martyr, Putin is now going to try to purge all of his supporters. He's going to make Stalin's Red Terror look tame.

He wanted to genocide Ukraine. Looks like he's going to genocide Russia.

7. Eventually russians who oppose the regime are going to have to figure out,

that peaceful resistance is futile and the only answer is some kind of violent, underground, partisan resistance. If you resist the regime, even slightly, you're basically as good as dead. If you're going to die anyway, you might as well do it taking out a piece of transport or other infrastructure, or taking out a few of the security personnel.

I don't think anything will meaningfully change over there until there's an actual violent revolution, sorry to say.

and they've posted videos of the results. They've been setting fire to military offices, train switch boxes, and even a couple of aircraft sitting on the tarmac, unguared, at air bases/ I have to hope it's all going through a series of VPN locations sending an email with the video attached before someon outside Russia posts it.
