It's the usual opportunistic agitating from the far right/neo-fascist groups accompanied by others who just fancy a bit of bother and don't have the football season as an outlet at the moment.

It was striking in footage I saw from one town where a few shops were being looted that most of the miscreants seemed to be in their teens, and early teens at that. Elsewhere, the lead agitators are generally already known and are moving around the country trying to foment unrest.

Almost without fail, where these "demonstrations" have been announced beforehand, they're far, far outnumbered by counter-protesters and just ordinary people who don't appreciate having their neighbourhoods disrupted and aren't afraid of making their disapproval known.
