3. If I understand it correctly, most of the stuff mothballed in AZ

was capable of being flown down there but needed expensive repairs to make it combat ready. IOW, it's there if we need it but not really good enough to send to people who are fighting for their lives.

Also, the Warthog is good at what it was designed to do, but it flies low and slow. It would be a sitting duck, er, warthog for even shitty Russian air defense. Maybe wnen Ukraine manages to take out the bulk of their air defenses, the Warthog will be an option for them., although Ukraine looks on schedule to take out their armor before the air defense is completely gone.
