Related: About this forumWill China Invade Russia? Examining the Rising Tensions - The Icarus Project
As Russia's war with Ukraine continues, China is taking advantage of Russia's situation in several ways - including to settle old grievances and land disputes. Putin is having to give major concessions to Xi Jinping as the Sino-Russian relationship shows more cracks than either nation is willing to admit on the surface.
But most surprising of all? Russia knew this might happen. In this video, we dive into some Russian war games diving into the specifics of a potential Chinese plot. We talk about everything from Ukraine to Outer Manchuria, and why the future of Russia is threatened more and more with each passing day that the War in Ukraine continues.

And I think it worked out ok for the invaders then.
Forget Taiwan, China. Richer prizes and resources await.
Just have to worry about those pesky nukes.

(24,524 posts)4. Absurd click-bait headline. China has no need or desire to invade Russia. They have Russia right where they want them:
on the ropes with a foundering economy thanks to western sanctions, Russia depends on China as one of the few allies they have in the world, China has way more important issues and fronts they have to deal with, including Taiwan, economic issues, and a West that is united against China.
