Iran's military chief warns of broader strikes if Israel responds - CNN

Iran’s military chief said the missile attack against Israel was limited to military targets, but warned of broader strikes if Israel responds. Maj. Gen. Mohammad Bagheri said Iran had targeted military infrastructure including the Mossad intelligence agency, the Nevatim Air Base, Hatzor Air Base, radar installations and groupings of Israeli tanks, despite having the option of launching a much broader attack.

"limited to military targets"? Seems more like providing targets for the anti-missile systems erronis Oct 2 #2

Most of the incoming missiles were reportedly shot down... but Iran has many more and Israel does not have an infinite supply of (far more expensive) interceptors.

We can't argue that Israel has no right to respond until Iran is actually successful in killing large numbers of their citizens.

Israel doesn't have an infiinite supply of interceptors, but they do have a lot. And Iran doesn;t have an unlimited supply of missiles either.

And if I had to guess, missile production facilities are going to be on the list of targets Israel will attack.

And I agree on casualties... the fact that Iran's attack wasn't successful in no way suggests Israel cannot or should not respond.

Just like skeet shooting. The old supremo grand whizard of the Iranian clerical cult decided to lob some ballistic missiles up for the Israelis and Americans to practice their aim.

Given that these brave Iranian clerics are also supplying weaponry and know-how to Putin, I'd think that Russia might want to be very careful trusting these "gifts".
