Surprise! Anti-BDS gift box coming straight to your front door

http://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/Surprise-Anti-BDS-gift-box-coming-to-your-front-door-455180

Omri Akunis is tired of hearing about the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaigns against Israel, and the start-up he leads aims to counteract the movement. “In recent years we witness ostracism by movements and countries which result in boycotting products manufactured in Israel,” Akunis said.

His solution? A gift box of Israeli products to be delivered right to your door.
Akunis co-founded the company iBox, which offers a blue-andwhite, made-in-Israel surprise box to its customers.

The company will target subscribers in North America, and each month send them a box of Israeli products that touch on five senses: hearing, feeling, smelling, tasting and seeing. In a promotional video a box is shown that includes in it Israeli products such as a bottle of wine and a photo calendar.

The company has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, and is hoping to raise $60,000 to kick off their first round of boxes.

2. Is a calendar persuasive enough to make people view discrimination and oppression

in a positive light? If someone gave me a bottle of wine and told me not to think about women's rights or be concerned about racial injustice, I'd see that blasé tactic as disturbingly indifferent and insulting. The optics of this poorly conceived idea is just wrong on so many levels. If that person is tired of hearing about efforts to end Israeli persecution, maybe he should send care boxes to the people in Palestine instead of trying to bribe people to turn a blind eye to Isreal's generations-long occupation.

you'll find that human rights are seldom at issue when profits are to be had.

If someone's primary issue is Jew hating and often homophobic bigotry then the BDS org is a great fit.
On the extreme right such as David Duke on the extreme left - so many Jew hating bigots - they once attempted to Bar an American Jew from singing at a reggae festival because he was a Jew but had no problem with the Gay hating fucking bigoted medieval culturally backwards groups they allowed to perform.

Criticizing US military policies does not translate into hating the troops any more than criticizing Israel's military occupation policy equates to hating their religion. Its a stupid ruse to minimize Israel's indefensible territory expansion and the discrimination and subjugation of an entire people trapped under an oppressive regime.

When you're down to lobbing f-bombs and trying to hide bigotry under the umbrella of religion, don't try to switch the topic because there is no justifiable defense.

It is anti Jewish bigots and often homophobic.

Anyone enabling those bigots do so for a reason.

Once these bigots left a severed pigs head in a Jewish supermarket- in South Africa.

The BDS org are small minded Bigots !!!

ruinous foreign policies, but you've painted your picture with such a broad brush that you've only succeeded in painting your own eyes shut. Your convictions are your own personal problem, as are the angry invectives you deploy when reason fails to support your weak position.

It has a huge impact on potential BDS where the products come from, but the article didn't really explain that point...
