BDS demonstrators disrupt talk by Israels UN ambassador

A lecture by Israel’s ambassador to the UN Danny Danon was disrupted Monday as supporters of the anti-Israel Boycott, Divest, Sanctions campaign burst in on the event.

The protesters shouted “Palestine will be liberated from the river to the sea,” “Israel is a terror state,” and “Israel has no right to exist.”

Danon, who had been addressing some 300 students from New York’s Columbia University, told the protesters, “Instead of inciting and lying, sit down on the chairs and maybe you’ll learn something,” the Ynet news site reported.

He told them, “We won’t remain silent in the face of the lies that you are spreading about Israel. We will continue to make our voices heard and to stand up for our just truth.”

A simple "No...I can't deal with that reality" would have sufficed. FBaggins Feb 2017 #4

The BDS protesters don't seem to fit the definition for BDS that you continue to insist on.

"From the river to the sea" is not a call for Israel to leave the West Bank... it's a call for Palestine to include all of Israel. Obviously "Israel has no right to exist" is even clearer.
