https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2018/03/israel-passes-law-strip-residency-jerusalem-palestinians-180307153033538.htmlHeadline a little clickbaity.
The Israeli parliament has passed a law that allows the minister of interior to revoke the residency rights of any Palestinian in Jerusalem on grounds of a "breach of loyalty" to Israel.
The bill, ratified on Wednesday, will also apply in cases where residency status was obtained on the basis of false information, and in cases where "an individual committed a criminal act" in the view of the interior ministry.
Under the new measure, Israel's Interior Minister Aryeh Deri, leader of the ultra-Orthodox political party Shas, will be able to strip the residency documents of any Palestinian whom he deems a threat.
Horrible horrible law. Israel's Knesset is being VERY stupid with this new law.

makes you think that all Palestinians in Jerusalem are losing their residency, but in reality they have to be 'an individual that committed a criminal act'. But the precedent this is setting is horrible.

(6 posts)4. Another example of religious idiocy
Israel's political system is accompanied by vicious warmongering & appeasing of religious nutters. They put down any criticism as ''anti-semitism'', but the fact is that anti-Zionism is the same as being anti-white supremacist i.e. opposing extreme ethnic/religious nationalism.

When did it become legal for a government to exile native born citizens? I stopped backing Israel on my 24th birthday, June 8th, 1967.
