An IDF spokesman has said in a social media post in Arabic that a road will be opened to allow people to move from northern Gaza to the south on Sunday.

The Times of Israel reports that IDF Arabic spokesman Avichay Adraee posted on X, previously known as Twitter, that Israel would open Salah-al-Din Street for southbound traffic between 10am and 2pm on Sunday.

"For your safety, take advantage of the time to move south beyond Wadi Gaza," he said.

Israel has called on civilians in north Gaza — the heart of Hamas' forces — to evacuate to the south for their own safety throughout its bombardment of the Gaza Strip in response to Hamas's attack on Israel on October 7.

Trust Israel? Well, travel down that road at that time and get bombed and killed by Hamas -- who now know where and when to do this.
Distrust Israel? Well, stay where you are and get bombed and killed by Israel some time later who will wash their hands of it because they warned you.

7. The BBC was reporting today that

their reporters are seeing people moving back north because of the bombing in the south. A UN official was quoted as saying there is no safe place in Gaza. It might be a bit of hyperbole because the bombs just haven't gotten to some spots yet. Gaza is not that big to begin with. It is only about 25 miles long and it varies between about 3.7 miles and 7.5 miles wide. The IDF already acknowledged a couple of weeks ago that a massive number of bombs have been dropped already. It would seem from the BBC reporting that people aren't trusting any assurances from the IDF. Least of all would I believe that the bombing/attack would stop if the hostages were all released. That idea of Israel stopping makes no sense because the IDF has already stated the policy is to eliminate Hamas completely from Gaza.
