...one of my (many) concerns about the 'big net' approach by Israel was whether they would hitting any of the locations where they were being held. Unless Israel had some idea of where those locations were?
But yeah, the Gazans have been pissed about hamas for a long time.

Remember that - despite claims of genocide (etc.) - there are reportedly 15k Gazan casualties. But thats out of a population of about 2.5 million.
Out of 250 hostages
that would work out to 1-2 deaths. And we know there have been far more than that number.

so the Hamas and hostage casualties should have been proportionally higher.
Unless Israel know where the hostages were... and didn't bomb there?
