On this Thanksgiving night episode, psychologist Chris Gruener discusses his activist work of waking up fellow Massachusetts citizens to the truth of 9/11. (Coincidentally, it was in Massachusetts that the Pilgrims of Plymouth Rock celebrated New Englands first Thanksgiving feast.) Gruener talks about his most recent wake-up work, which involved hosting Richard Gage during his mid-November Northeast Tour. He also explains the relevance of the 14-year-old 9/11 Truth Movement to current events. Finally, Gruener offers his take on the low blow that Boston Globe columnist Alex Beam delivered to truthers who dare speak up about the solid evidence that the three World Trade Center towers were destroyed by controlled demolition.

(11,047 posts)He has one of the most annoying voices I've ever heard, which makes his bullshit that much harder to listen to.

You guys can keep kidding yourselves, but if there actual was any "solid evidence" of a controlled demolition, you wouldn't be considered a bunch crackpots by rational people. Really. But, I guess if you understood what "rational" means, I wouldn't have to tell you that. "It looked like a CD so it must have been one" is not solid evidence, and neither is "I don't understand this." When you try to go beyond that and try to pass off easily debunked bullshit as "solid evidence," you are the ones giving "conspiracy theorists" a bad reputation, not Alex Beam.

(2,169 posts)Are you under the impression that I- or anyone else- cares whose voice you find annoying?
You've got a terribly high opinion of yourself, as anyone that reads your scribblings can see very clearly. But since you won't post your credentials you are just one of the 8 billion people in the world.
REMINDER: Creative Speculation is a group, not a forum. Groups often serve as safe havens for members who share similar interests and viewpoints.
Individuals who post messages contrary to a particular group's stated purpose can be excluded from posting in that group.
Why are posts like yours tolerated in this group? if I insisted on posting negative things in the Hillary Rodham-Clinton group, how long would it be before I was banned?
I intend to press this question, Billy. I think your posts are detrimental to the groups stated purpose and goals. Slime away, internet keyboard warrior.

(11,047 posts)... because they deserve it. I do not slime DU members, but ridiculing the bullshit you've bought from the hucksters is a different matter. What you believe or don't believe isn't the issue at all; that's your problem. My issue is that you've decided to resell the bullshit here on DU. If it wasn't bullshit, you would easily be able to deal with that.

(11,047 posts)"Truthers" will tear through the NIST reports accusing the authors of fabricating any evidence that supports the "official story" until they finally find that nugget of truth that "points to there being much more" that the lying bastards accidentally left in there. But for some reason, how it "points to" magical things like silent explosives and super-nanothermite paint chips is never made rationally coherent.
I sort of like the idea that if you're going to accuse scores of experts from government, academia, and private industry of covering up a mass murder, you need a pretty substantial case. If you've got something that "points to there being much more" than the bullshit that "truthers" have offered up so far, let's see it.
