SCOTUS

Hypothetical, inspired by Al Franken;

BO proposes a constitutional amendment that changes the SCOTUS appointment window.
Formalize what the GOP says is "right", no high court nomination by ANY president in the last 12 months of their term.
How can the GOP say no without exposing their hypocrisy?

His address to the Senate, speculating the alleged rule against late term nominations was Obama specific. Got me to thinking we should call the GOP's bluff, see if they would legitimize a rule that might come back to bite them on the ass.
