Not THIS President, but I'm working on it:
This story may seem unbelievable at first, a talking
Cat advising the President, Beth's ability to shoot
blindfolded, the Criminal's magic rope trick, that
the government is not always out to get you, true love,
the re-incarnation of Simon Templar, an invisible RV
and plane, the FBI being able to tolerate working
with these almost outlaws, and all those missing, but
before you're finished, you'll believe. Maybe not in
talking Cats, but that there really are good people
out there, hiding all around us, just waiting for
something good to believe in, and then act on it.
You might even be one of them!
The gal or guy in the next office, cubicle, seat on
the bus, plane or just walking by on the street
might be one too. They might be the most intolerable
person on the planet, but when it comes to crunch
time, and they see a kitten on the third floor of a
burning building, they will act.
There really are people out there like that, but the
hardest part is getting some of them together like I
did in this story.

I like the way you think.

(17,275 posts)No, not really - but the cat would probably be smarter than the current advisors. And besides, he doesn't listen to any of them anyhow - it would be cheaper - a bag of cat food and wouldn't have to worry about millions of dollars in "stock manipulation."

but I wonder what would happen if he didn't like the advice?
No more cat food for you!

You KNOW that once he's made his last "tweet" of the night and dozes off, that "pelt" sitting on top of that empty head is the next target for "Advisor #1!"

but I have to admit honestly, that I actually like Trump. He's entertaining, but he really shouldn't be running the country.
He's such an idiot sometimes, but the other funny thing is that the first couple times around, he actually ran for President as a democrat, and I often wonder why no one brings that up, especially since he's so down on them and their 'fake news'.
(I'm not really a democrat, but more like an independent liberal that sometimes leans republican)
My theory is that most democrats were smart enough to realize he was an idiot, but most republicans weren't.
He's still entertaining, like a serial killer explaining his thought processes without realizing that he's talking out loud, but of course, like everything else, that's just fake news.
