Re S1867: If I'm reading the database auto-footer in THOMAS > S1867 correctly, the offending and very problematic language may have been gone as early as November 16, so WHAT is the purpose of all of this horrified outrage?

Hypothesis: Outrage is driven by tho$$$$$$$$$$$$$$e who are actually very pissed off that the detention language WAS REMOVED. BTW, speaking of Friends of Xe the private army, previously known as Blackwater and financed by international ROYALTY . . .

please NOTE that John McCain was one of the authors of S1867 legislation, along with Carl Levin, which legislation also BTW, had almost 400 amendments on it, thusly putting it squarely into a BUNCH of DIVERSE lobbying cro$$-hair$ and, hence also, attached to a BUNCH of very specific kinds of FUNDRAISING.
