Not an obvious secret.
Why me? Skinner wanted to get this group off to a good, even start. I was the moderator of the old forum back in DU and DU2 days. I have a fair amount of experience in this subject of conspiracies and with how it particularly manifests itself. I have been associated with this forum far longer than almost anyone else here. I am very familiar with the history. Yes, i did not post much over the past few years, mostly due to the reaction of the membership and the claim I was being impartial, but that does not mean I do not have an interest in one or more aspects.
More importantly, this forum has a special call out and reservation for being a place where conspiracy theories can be discussed. It also has a reputation of being one of several topics where people have a very hard time to agree to disagree. The number of alerts which were generated from 9/11 were percentage wise, much, much higher than almost any other forum - excluding possibly I/P.
For the record, there are two important points to note here. First, I am *NOT* the moderator and it is absurd to conflate the two - they are not the same. I do not have the power to remove individual posts nor police your individual actions nor ban you from the board. That is for you to self-control, the Jury system, and the MIR to enforce. Second, I only have the power to lock threads and ban users from this forum. I also have the power to add additional hosts who can do the same. I intend to add a few additional people shortly.
