(22,997 posts)If you're looking for hardcore, actual creative speculation(not the euphemism applied to this Group), it'd be hard to beat. What happens when a guy goes back in time to try to prevent Kennedy's assassination, while trying to make sure it really was Oswald that did it.
11/22/63: A Novel paperback at Amazon.
Its audio version narrated by Craig Wasson is damn good, too. I'm about 90% through that one.

(4,108 posts)I just finished "I Am Malala", and liked it way more than I thought I would. She talks about the reign of terror brought down by the Taliban in Swat, Pakistan. The description of the shooting is also very compelling.
