Et tu Caitlyn?

Caitlyn Jenner: Trans girls shouldn’t compete in girls’ sports because ‘it just isn’t fair’

Jenner — who has plans to run for California governor — recently told TMZ that it’s a “question of fairness” that prevents her from supporting trans girls competing against their cisgender peers.

“That’s why I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls sports in school,” the 71-year-old gubernatorial hopeful said. “It just isn’t fair, and we have to protect girls’ sports in our schools.”

Their argument is too simplistic. It's not a male/female thing, it's an estrogen/testosterone one Lettuce Be May 2021 #5

Um, Caity, don't you want us to consider YOU a woman and not a biological man?

Can't even.

If someone transitions to male from female it is because they have a higher than normal level of testosterone for a female. They'd need supplemental testosterone but that's never going to be enough to give some advantage. These females are not a threat to male sports.

Opposite is true to transition from male to female -- they tend to have higher natural estrogen levels (hence feel more female). These males are also no threat to female sports.

In both cases, the people are getting normalized amounts of hormones -- they are what they are. The notion that someone is getting some "advantage" is ridiculous.

The only thing that surprises me about her erasing all doubt and coming out to say "I got mine, so fuck you!" is that it took her this long. I'm not one bit surprised about her attitude, her selfishness, and her bigotry toward other TG's because this is who the hell she's been all her life. She doesn't care about anyone but herself, she has zero empathy, and she'd gladly use others to get what she wants. Transitioning and having the surgery didn't change who she was... If anything, it fully revealed and erased all doubt as to who she is.

From the moment she came out several years ago and I heard people speak of how she would be a champion for trans people, I rolled my eyes. Not because the trans community doesn't deserve to have a celebrity champion and someone that can be pointed to to say "See? There's a successful, famous, wealthy trans person to look up to and help kick down doors"... Just that those of us who pay attention knew she was not that person. She would never be that person. To be that person, she would have to look beyond herself, care about anyone but herself and lift a finger to help anyone but herself. She never did so prior to transitioning. What made people think she was do so after coming out?

While the media was telling us she was "stunning and brave"* and she was being handed ESPY awards (besides, do any of the Arthur Ashe Courage Awards really count besides the first one that was given to Jim Valvano?), I rolled my eyes and thought "This is going to turn out badly." Again, not because I don't care about the trans community, but, because Caitlyn Jenner does not. She was never going to support or aid or empower the trans community. She was merely going to use it, then the moment they were of no use to her, throw them away like trash. Sure enough, that's exactly what she has done. She took from the community, used them, never gave a single thing back. Once they could do no more for her, she took off and ran them over faster than you can say "Kim Howe".

(Yeah, I used "stunning and brave" on purpose. I am a South Park fan, and absolutely loved all the shots they took at Benedict Caitlyn. Why? Because they nailed it, and nailed her. They didn't go after the community as a whole when they spoofed her... they just went after Caitlyn Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner alone. Cool with me. She deserves it. She deserved it then and deserves it even more now.)

This isn't an isolated incident. Whether it's taking from the community while giving nothing back, or kissing up to Comrade Covfefe, and now basically throwing the entire trans community under the bus and attacking them from within (well, as much "within" as a person can be when they sit on the fringes and suck on it like a mosquito), this is what she does and who she is. Always has been. Always will be. Anyone who expected better was fooling themselves, I'm sorry to say.

Honestly, the next time I see the media call her a "transgender activist", I'm going to scream. Looking out for yourself, and only yourself, is not "activism". It's Trumpism.

You want "fairness", Jenner? How about using your wealth, your influence, your fame to help other TG's transition and improve their quality of life. How about helping others instead of punching down on them and stabbing them in the back?

Go back to your dumbass reality show, Caitlyn.

Once again, she's proven that a Jenner by any other name still stinks - to paraphrase an old saying.
