This week, I got to see Hillary Clinton speak to a crowd of 600 women when she made an appearance at the women-only social club the Wing. It was strange to watch this brilliant, knowledgeable woman and know that she could have been our president right now. It was painful, actually. And I wasn’t the only one who felt it – women in the room were openly shedding tears as she spoke. Seeing her was a reminder to many, I think, that we’ve made so little progress that the world’s dumbest and most awful man could win the presidency over the world’s most qualified woman.
But somehow getting to listen to her talk in a room with only women also made me hopeful. So often women are told to keep quiet and get over it – even Clinton, who has been harangued by rightwing media and told to disappear even as they talk about her nearly every day. For a few minutes, we got to be sad together without anyone telling us to suck it up. By the time we left, though, we were angry and inspired – a far more dangerous combination for the right.

It stands to remind everyone of the shysters & organized criminal network of billionares & liars eyeing their next meal at the Taxpayers trough.
2018 election will forever determine the course of our country, and its status today is fragile.
The mockery & disregarding of these rights as we now see them addressed only as a passing thought in a campaign op is one more example of patting women on the head as they ask for their dinner.
It is up to us to see that it doesn't get conveniently moved to a campaign afterthought.

Who'll that be?
Number one and two are my two daughters. I want them to understand they are just as capable and important as anybody who happens to have a penis.
Here is my oldest during the womens’ match January 2017. My wife and daughters were watching it live on TV and she ran upstairs into her room for 20 minutes before coming down with her own protest sign!

My youngest always gets in trouble at school for hitting boys and standing up for herself and her friends. (Although her teacher has pulled her aside and said that she was proud of her).
Not just with my own kids, but recent events have shown me that the future generation is going to be great for this country.
We may have had a setback with Hillary Clinton’s absence from the Oval Office, but I’m confident that we are on the cusp of a major shift in our nation for the better. Our children prove that to me.
..young girls, women who had their future of equality taken from them & traded for the promise of a bag of free stuff.
Mabe her generation will be wiser than some adults in 2016.
