I had a ramp installed on my side porch

Both my elderly dog and I need it. Princess Pretty Paws, was very hesitant, but tugs on her harness and lots of small milk bones covered with spray cheese she went down then back up. For me, it's making me feel like an old decrepit woman, but it will be easier then it was before.
