We need one that is especially good for folks with lower spinal issues and with adjustable heights. I've been looking on Staples website and am a bit confused with all of the choices.
Any good suggestions?
Thanks!

(106,385 posts)Probably the only chair I can sit in hours on end...
A caution, though, I have found several of Aeron chair lookalikes in Staples, Office Max and the like to be poorly made....I've seen employers go that route to try to save some $$ and have to replace them fairly quickly.

(5,378 posts)Only problem I had was the pneumatic gas cylinder failed after 2 years. Got another one off Ebay for 28 bucks and once it arrived, with the help of a YouTube video I replaced it in around half an hour.

Edited to add- you might contact these people for advice on a chair that will do the job. Staples and the rest won't be much help they will just want to sell something.

(40,416 posts)I worked at my workstation for many hours a day. It was a dream. Pricey, but worth it, especially if you get one of the available discounts.
Unusual design, but beautifully made and not at all tiring.

(65,070 posts)chair for my computer desk. I have spinal arthritis and my husband has had two spinal surgeries. It goes to the question of how we treat our back problems. An ergonomic chair would help.

(37,436 posts)The "plus" model can hold up to 500 lbs, at much higher cost.
Note that I don't have any medically diagnosed back probelms, just a sore back from grad school days, when my desk chair was whatever was left over from the fire sale at the orphanage. Faculty got the chair above, and it was sooooo comfortable.
These may be pricier than you were thinking of, but they are quality products that hold up well.
