(12,934 posts)Good on you. I know it's not easy to do.
I have diabeties too.
Just getting past a low bsl myself. Eyes are still blurry. Ate a spoonful of honey, will be ok in a few minutes.
I manage the hell out of my diabeties. My last a1c was 5.12.
I felt like I had to change so much it was overwhelming when I got diagnosed. My cat saved my life.
I was in the hospital for a few weeks as they tried to get my bsl down to reasonable level.
I was given insulin.
But now meds do the job. Don't need insulin now.

(15,935 posts)I try hard but no matter how much Lantus I take, my morning sugar is always around 260 and who knows how many hours its been at that number. I can control it pretty good during the day with humalog.
