Related: About this forumHearing aids. --- it's getting about time. Problem is, they're expensive and I don't want to lose them.
And I wear glasses, especially outdoors.
So the question: Do the arms on glasses keep the top of the hearing aid less secure? Both rest on the same part of the ear.

(106,330 posts)it seems from some of the older people I have spent some time with lately that a lot of newer hearing aids are "in-ear" without the "around-the-ear" loop. These look, at least, very similar to the iPods (and their cheaper knock-offs) that many of us wear running, walking, and doing all manner of active movement. So, while I'm sure there is variation of styles and models, I can attest that the in-ear iPod style actually do stay in the ear quite well. I've had the "cheaper knock-offs" for more than a year now and had no issues. I walk/hike 4 miles a day typically as well as listen to podcasts at other times and they are reasonably comfortable. I wear sunglasses outdoors most of the time. No issues, as would be expected.
