(2,993 posts)Doesn't mean you can transmit it. Fragments hanging around can cause positives.
Doctors say ignore it if symptoms gone.

(953 posts)....for well over 14 days.
When we had COVID in February 2022, we had already received our COVID vaccines but contracted COVID from his coworker, who inadvertently passed it along to him...and he, then, to me.
Neither of us received Paxlovid, however. (I don't remember if Paxlovid was even available at that time; if it was, our doctor probably informed us that we'd missed our window of opportunity.)

(953 posts)....that we felt as bad as we did after having received our vaccines!
I remember that we both were very fatigued for a solid two weeks. We never really had any coughing or sore throats, but our bodies ached as if we had the flu. We also had headaches, lost our appetites, and had low-grade fevers. No chest congestion, though. We felt pretty rotten those two weeks. We definitely hope we don't get COVID again.
Both of us are in our 60s and are relatively healthy. We were grateful we'd received our vaccines or we might have felt much worse.
I hope you and your husband feel better soon!
