We have to buy our drinking water here, it comes in plastic.

A friend lives in a remote desert town where the water is OK for doing laundry and flushing toilets, but not for drinking. The state buys them drinking water, but it comes in plastic jugs.

Even make ice cubes with it. I have a tall glass jar with a lid on my counter to hold it. I filter it first with a Brita, then boil it.
