Yellowing under eyes

I don’t really see it because the lighting in my house is low. But I’ve been traveling the past two months and in hotel bathrooms with bright lights I’ve noticed a slight yellowing under my eyes. Anybody experience this?

Jaundice: A condition that occurs when bilirubin, a red-orange substance produced when red blood cells break down, builds up in the blood. Jaundice can be caused by a number of medical conditions, including hepatitis, gallstones, and tumors.
Liver disease: Liver dysfunction can cause yellowing of the skin and eyes.
Biliary dysfunction: A blockage in the bile duct system can cause yellowing of the skin and eye

My family noticed it, years ago, and I ended up having gall bladder removed.

I noticed that with my brother and he was jaundiced from alcoholism.

Nothing came back bad

3. You say you are traveling. Are you vaccinated for Hepatitis A?

If not you need to be aware you could be infectious to others and if this is yellowing of the interior white portion of your eyes, seek health care without delay. Jaundice can be quite serious.

7. I don't know your situation at all, but in October my mom

had a jaundice issue caused by (so far as we know) a gallbladder stone. But she was initially diagnosed with bile duct cancer, so her life was turned upside down for about ten days until her oncologist inadvertently discovered the stone while placing a stent. One thing with her is that she was unable to recognize that she had it. I think this might be common, where it's hard for the individual affected to see, or to see the extent of it.

I hope in your case it is nothing serious. Many things can cause this.
