If you're not familiar with Kanopy & Hoopla, here's the scoop!

Both services offer free streaming movies, ebooks and more. With Kanopy you get 6 movies per month and Hoopla offers 12 movies per month with your library card. Not sure if all libraries participate, but it's definitely worth looking into. I find Kanopy has more of what I'm looking for and I wish they offered more than 6/mo.

You do have to wait for availability. Hoopla has a larger selection. My local Overdrive doesn't have much. My daughters has a lot more.

2. I have access to Hoopla

The number of views is dependent on your library system. For example my mom gets 18. I get 3 in my local system.

I don't have access to Kanopy.

4. I really like Hoopla. Primarily I read comic books.

I get 10 checkouts a month which, with the comics I buy monthly, is more than enough to get me a couple ebooks/audiobooks a month, too. What a great service.

6. Kicking this for those who may have missed it.

I just added a bunch of movies to my queue that look great on Kanopy. I now have 90 movies in my queue! That's way better than my Netflix queue.
