Marketing the Messiah is a documentary.

I'm interested in hearing about the series you watched, though.

Middle East to America. He shows up in a small town in Texas during a tornado and saves the local preachers daughter.
The entire town is leveled but the church comes out undamaged. The preacher believes he is the Messiah and
when the news spreads people from everywhere come to the small town. The preacher and the Messiah head for DC with
a caravan of thousands of people joining them on their trip. I have watched the first 6 episodes there are 10 all together.
Great binge watch for the week. Finished it very good.

7. By episode 5 I felt like I was being strung along by the writers.

I enjoyed the first few episodes, but I get the feeling that the whole story would fit comfortably in a single feature-length movie. It's mostly padding and filler, and leading us on with ambiguous teases.
