I am compelled to post this, 2 thirds of the way through this incredibly dark movie on the period in 1930's Ukraine when Moscow was taking their grain to fund induxtrial production in Russia. The only valuable commodity Russian and Stalin had was the grain to sell. A reporter illegally enters the Ukraine to bear witness.

Caution....visually intense and mentally disturbing.....a look at what happens when a murderer (Stalin) controls government and totally sacrifices millions of citizens to mass starvation by expropriating their resources.

1. I'm a big fan of Sarah Kendzior and

Andrea Chalupa who host the podcast Gaslit Nation, which is phenomenal, and in which they foresaw every fascist move of this administration from the beginning!

Andrea produced Mr. Jones, so, of course, had to see it.

VERY hard watch, but critically important story to tell.
