Anybody trying to watch Britbox tonight?
First when I turned to it I got a message saying it was not available in my country. Then it wouldn't load at all. Last time I had this problem with a streaming channel their software on my Roku device needed to be updated and I had to unplug it from the power and power it back up. So I did that.
Still no improvement, so I checked the Britbox web site that showed the streaming app was down. I watched something on Acorn TV and came back - still no Britbox. It acted as though I had no subscription so I signed in and it went to a gray screen - not the same as before.
So no Britbox tonight, I guess. Anyone having problems?

(34,189 posts)I was watching it on Prime but they dropped it, then Britbox got it. I've watched the entire series before, then saw part of a new season while we were in the UK (not sure what season) so wanted to catch up. Britbox has season 22 so I started on 20 this time.
So instead of Silent Witness I started on a Midsomer Murders on Acorn TV episode, but got distracted. It's late so I think I will stop it and watch Doc Martin instead.

(37,868 posts)I enjoyed it, too, but I couldn't convince my spouse to watch it on a regular basis. He's on a business trip so I'm going to pick up where I left off.

(12,179 posts)There are nights when it simply says a show is unavailable, to try again later. Meanwhile, Netflix never fails me. I wonder if they have some sort of bandwidth issue, but what do I know? I'm no techie.
I'm addicted to Upstart Crow.
