Best series I've ever seen.

Spiral

It's a French series with sub-titles that brings together the police, lawyers and judges in the French Judicial system (which is quite different from ours) to solve various crimes.

It is exciting, complex, and character-driven with interesting plots and sub-plots. The writing is fantastic and the acting is realistic and highly believable. It's also a bit violent, but then, criminals and crime tend to be violent.

It may improve your high school French too. (It surely will add to your knowledge of French swear words)

There are 8 Seasons! After finishing all 8, I actually went back and watched all 8 again. It's that good.

It's on Amazon Prime.

Also do not miss The Bureau on Sundance Now. Absolutely great spy series.

Not sure where Braquo is streaming now.

Add it to your list. Also watch for this:

I had to break down and by the series on DVD and also a DVD player that would play all regions. It is an exceptional series.

And also this:

Another one I had to buy the foreign DVD.

And can't seem to stop watching it. On Episode 6. I've discovered you really have to give these foreign films a chance. Takes an episode or two to get into the rhythm for me. But in English so no need to read subtitles.
