Picard Season 1 was well done, a fun sequel to The Next Generation.

He is trying to let Picard feel " normal"...by aging himself ...just a guess.

A long shot guess...since this upcoming season deals with the timeline....I sense a surprise visit from Admiral Jonathan Archer could come into play...Bakula is available...
