We Own This City - Official Trailer - HBO - Streams Apr 25th

HBO has premiered the full trailer for its six-episode limited crime drama series “We Own This City” which sees “The Wire” creator David Simon and his “The Deuce” co-creator George Pelecanos return to explore a new story in the city of Baltimore.

Based on the book by Justin Fenton, this chronicles the rise and fall of the Baltimore Police Department’s Gun Trace Task Force and the corruption and moral collapse that befell the city in which the policies of drug prohibition and mass arrest were championed at the expense of actual police work.

Jon Bernthal, Wunmi Mosaku, Jamie Hector, McKinley Belcher III, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Josh Charles, Dagmara Domińczyk, Rob Brown, Don Harvey, David Corenswet, Larry Mitchell, Ian Duff, Delaney Williams, and Lucas Van Engen star.

Treat Williams, Gabrielle Carteris, Tray Chaney, Domenick Lombardozzi, Thaddeus Street and Jermaine Crawford guest star. Reinaldo Marcus Green (“King Richard”) directs all six episodes of the series which will be released on HBO and HBO Max from April 25th.

This looks amazaballs. Bernthal plays a great bad guy and it looks like he'll deliver again here. Can't wait to see it.
