Ozark finale discussion (spoilers)

So after all that the whole Byrde family is still alive?! I really thought at least one of them would be dead by the end. As far as I can recall, Charlotte is the only one who hasn't killed somebody.

Ruth gets her criminal record expunged and then she's blown away! I can't say that was too big of a surprise except for the shooter.

Poor "three"! He's the one left with absolutely nobody in the end.

Anyone know where can I get one of those goat cookie jars?

Wendy myself. When ever she gave that cute smile you know
she was going to either screw you over or have you killed.
Poor Marty was like a victim trying to undue all of her messes.
I would have liked to see the entire Byrd family knocked
off.

I was rooting for Ruth to survive. At the end I really thought that the mob lady would let her go because of the courage Ruth showed in standing right in front of her owning what she had done. I thought she would see some sort of a kindred spirit in Ruth.

Wendy's character was very conflicted. She seemed to have a very deep love for her children but then she was so wicked she had no qualms about using them. Marty was such a doormat it infuriated me.

The surprise was John Boy's character. He played it so well.

go. The daughter Charlotte could have lived, she wasn't as evil as the rest. I was thinking Richard Thomas looked old but I must even look older he is 70 I am 74.

The first of the new episodes that came out on Ozark.

Biggest takeaway - it is so damn dark. Literally and figuratively.

Our brother-in-law stopped watching after season 1. Because he said that shows like this, based on this kind of premise, can only have a downward trajectory. Once good normal people get involved with mob, never ends well.

Looking at the TV right now glancing up at it can hardly see the people amid all the darkness

I guess it explains why Jason Bateman is doing ads for Hyundai now.

I can't believe I wasted five years waiting for this. I am not a happy camper.

think the ending and the list of characters still alive could be a good start for a sequel. I have no idea how well it would go over without Ruth however. She emerged as the heart and soul of the sries imo.
