Amazon Prime remake of "League of their Own" as a multipart series.

Not at all impressed. I know that I am not the age group this is aimed at (no need for sex or swearing in the original with Tom Hanks and Geena Davis - but that was then). But...I feel the same way as the "Little Women" remake.

Why? The original films were fine as they were. The remakes are far worse, in our view.

We find our typical feelings about the League remake - forces, overacted, contrived, etc.

We watched the first three - and that is all.

Tonight - the Better Call Saul finale. Now, THAT is something special!

We are mid 60s. Still pine for movies like Ghandi, Remains of the Day, Babel, Shadowlands, Howard's End.

Actual stories, character development - all that stuff - and dialog that can be understood!!!
