Anybody like those old "kaiju," Japanese monster movies - Godzilla, etc.?
Netflix has a new spin! Instead of having a gigantic lizard about to squash Tokyo, a gigantic troll awakened from under a mountain is about to squash Oslo. Same basic plot with better scenery - a crazy old man tries to warn people; nobody believes the scientist; the military tries to kill the monster without success... If you liked Godzilla and Mothra you'll love Troll. The special effects are excellent and the mountains are magnificent, and it's such an obvious takeoff on kaiju that it's pretty fun. Got good reviews, too.

Ocelot II
(120,883 posts)since it's in Norwegian you might not notice that the dialogue and the lip movements are in sync.
